Stories are magical
As a young girl, I was spellbound by books. Reading allowed me to escape into other worlds. My first job was a page at my local public library. I took pride in stamping due date cards, emptying the outdoor book drop, and keeping the library clean for patrons. Along with reading, writing and making art became a part of my regular creative practice.
As a young mother in my early 20s, I immersed myself in creative writing courses, began self-publishing, and had my work published in major print and online publications.
I experienced the healing power of telling stories.
I became passionate about sharing stories and witnessing the joy, connection, and healing they created.
This passion launched me onto the path of becoming a creative business owner in 2004. Since then, I've been active in community building, mentoring writers through their journey of writing their books, and guiding women through creative processes to build their confidence and trust in themselves so they can step into the world with their work.
One of my superpowers is successfully guiding creatives from overwhelm and stuckness to movement to finishing their books.
Along with in-person classes, I run online writing and art programs, offer 1:1 coaching for writers who need support working through limiting beliefs, organize materials, and provide the accountability they need to cross the finish line.
I’m a Certified Cosmic Smash Book™ Guide and a Certified Intentional Creativity Teacher. I reside in the beautiful state of Washington with my kids, chickens, and vintage typewriter collection. I’m currently writing the final book in my young adult trilogy.
After experiencing the sudden death of my husband in 2018, my desire to empower women to pursue their goals has been stronger than ever.
I know waiting to fulfill your dreams is not an option, and the time to write and create is now.
