Sacred Roots Farmstead
Growing things. Making things. Living closer to the land.
Welcome to my little micro-farmstead in the Pacific Northwest, where I'm learning, experimenting, and choosing a more intentional relationship with the land.
Here, you'll find a little bit of everything: gardens, herbs, chickens, seasonal harvests, homemade goodness, and plenty of creative adventures along the way.
It's a work in progress, which feels like part of the magic.
Rooted in Curiosity
Sacred Roots Farmstead is a beautiful blend of growing, healing, and listening.
I'm interested in growing food, flowers, and herbs; using what the land offers; reducing waste; and discovering how much I can create with my own two hands.
Some seasons I shovel and build; others, I tend the garden, gather herbs, watch the chickens, or sit outside with my journal.
I'm not an expert at all. I'm learning as I grow, and sharing what I discover along the way.
Where Creativity Meets the Land
I've come to realize that tending the land and tending my creative life aren't all that different.
Both invite patience, curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to work with what is rather than what I think should be.
Sacred Roots is becoming another expression of my creative practice. A place where growing, gathering, making, writing, and everyday living meet.
Come Along for the Adventure
I'll be sharing bits and pieces of life at Sacred Roots Farmstead through my writing, photographs, seasonal projects, and occasional creations inspired by the land.
If you'd like to follow along, my newsletter is a lovely place to begin.
